Internet slowdown
ช่วงนี้ขา Internet คงพบว่าเวปต่างประเทศเกิดอาการ load ช้ากันทั่วหน้า สาเหตุใหญ่คงเป็นเพราะขณะนี้ cable ใต้น้ำในช่วงของตะวันออกกลางเกิดขาด ซึ่งเรื่องนี้เคยเกิดกับ cable แถวเกาหลีใต้เมื่อปี 2545 มาแล้วครั้งหนึ่ง แต่ที่ไม่ธรรมดาในครั้งนี้ก็คือ cable ที่ขาดนี้เป็นเส้นที่ 4 ภายในสัปดาห์เดียว โดยที่ล่าสุดเป็นเส้นแถว United Arab Emirates ที่ขาด สาเหตุที่ตอนนี้พูดกันก็คือ เรือลากสมอเรือไปเกี่ยวเข้า หรือจะเกิดจากแผ่นดินไหวเมื่อหลายวันก่อน ตอนนี้คงได้แต่เดากันไป Cable ที่ขาดนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ SEA-ME-WE 4 (South East Asia – Middle East – Western Europe) จริงๆ ว่าไปแล้ว traffic ส่วนใหญ่ที่จะมีผลกระทบน่าจะเป็น traffic ไปยุโรป แต่เวปที่เราเล่นส่วนใหญ่จะไปอเมริกาซะมากกว่า เลยไม่รู้ว่าจริงๆ แล้วมันมีผลกระทบกับการเล่นเนทในเมืองไทยจริงๆ เหมือนที่ ISP อ้างกันอยู่หรือเปล่า เกี่ยวกับ SEA-ME-WE-4 ที่ [...]
