Melbourne Heatwave
ในขณะที่คนในซีกโลกเหนือกำลังเจอกับฤดูหนาวที่หนาวจัดกว่าปีก่อนๆ และยังสงสัยว่ามันจะ Global Warming กันตรงไหน คนในฝั่งซึกโลกใต้ซึ่งกำลังอยู่ในช่วงฤดูร้อนคงตอบได้ทันที โดยเฉพาะที่ Melbourne ออสเตรเลีย ที่ตอนนี้กำลังโดนเข้ากับ Heatwave ที่ร้อนที่สุดในรอบ 100 ปี ซึ่งตรงกับช่วงของ Australian Open พอดี เมื่อวานที่ Melbourne ก็ขึ้นไปถึง 41C ส่วนวันนี้ก็เกือบ 44C ไปเรียบร้อย ส่วนนอกเมืองออกไปทางเหนือก็ขึ้นไปกว่า 45C เรียบร้อยแล้ว ปีนี้ทางกรมอุตุฯ ของ Australia พยากรณ์ไว้ว่าจะมีอุณหภูมิร้อนเกิน 40C เป็นเวลา 6 วันติดต่อกัน และอากาศร้อนในบ้านเค้าจะร้อนแบบแห้ง ไม่เหมือนร้อนชื้นในบ้านเรา ทำให้จะรู้สึกร้อนเหมือนอยู่ในเตาอบและหิวน้ำมาก คนที่จะน่าเป็นห่วงมากที่สุดก็คือผู้สูงอายุที่อยู่บ้านตามลำพัง เพราะโอกาสที่จะเป็นลมไปนั้นเป็นไปได้มาก ของเราเมษานี้ก็เตรียมรับมือกันไว้ให้ดีก็แล้วกัน — ภาพจาก http://www.telegraph.co.uk
