The Oracle Says – BUY SUN!

ในที่สุดหลังจากที่เป็นข่าวเมื่อต้นเดือนเมษายน (กับอีกเจ้า) ในที่สุด Sun ก็ประกาศว่าบริษัท Oracle ยักษ์ใหญ่ทางด้าน Database และ application จะซื้อกิจการของ Sun Microsystems ในราคา 7.4 พันล้านเหรียญ เดิมเมื่อต้นเดือนก็มีข่าวทำนองนี้แต่ผู้ซื้อเป็นยักษ์ใหญ่สีน้ำเงิน IBM แต่สุดท้าย deal ล้มไปด้วยราคาที่ต่างกับ Oracle เพียง 10 เซ็นต์ ไม่รู้ว่า IBM จะเสียใจหรือโล่งใจกันแน่ อ่านข่าวต่อได้ที่นี่ครับ
