Firefox 11
New version of Firefox (v11) has been relased. Enjoy the new version at the same usual place (www.mozilla.org) In the mean time. Chrome is at version 17.0 and IE is at IE8.

Firefox 6.0
Firefox 5.0 was release not long ago.. Without any minor version, now the new version, Firefox 6.0, is out. This may be an attemp to catchup with Google Chrome version number (current in v13). Actually I see no different in V6 from V5..
Firefox 5.0
ยังจำได้ว่าพึ่งเขียนถึง Firefox 4.0 ไปได้ไม่นาน วั้นนี้ทาง Mozilla.org ได้ออก browser Firefox 5.0 มาให้ download มาใช้กันฟรีๆ Firefox เป็น Internet browser ที่เป็นคู่ปรับของ Internet Explorer มาแต่ช้านาน ด้วยการออกแบบที่คำนึงถึงความเร็วและความปลอดภัย แม้ทุกวันนี้จะได้ส่วนแบ่งมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆ แต่ก็ยังไม่ขึ้นเป็นที่ 1 ซักที ทาง Mozilla.org เปลี่ยน model ในการพัฒนาโดยจะออก release ถึ่ขึ่น ดังนั้นเราอาจจะได้เห็น Firefox 10 ได้ในไม่นานนี้ ด้วยหน้าตาที่เปลี่ยนไปเล็กน้อย แต่เพิ่มความสามารถในการทำ private browsing หรือเพิ่ม App Tab ให้สามารถกำหนด application ให้เป็นเหมือนกับ tab ถาวรได้ ก็คงต้องดูกันว่าด้วยความสามารถพวกนี้จะดึงส่วนแบ่งตลาดมาเพิ่มได้หรือไม่

สำหรับคนที่ใช้งาน Internet เป็นประจำ browser นั้นคงเป็นสิ่งที่คุ้นเคยกันดี เพราะเป็นเหมือนหน้าต่างที่จะเชื่อมไปยัง Internet ในบรรดา browser ที่เป็นที่นิยมนั้นก็จะมี Internet Explorer, Firefox และ Chrome ตัวแรกนั้นเป็นของ Microsoft ที่ให้มากับ Windows ซึ่งเร็วๆ นี้ออก version 9 มาให้ใช้กันแล้ว ส่วน Firefox นั้นก็ออก 3.6 และกำลังจะออก version 4 ในไม่กี่ชั่วโมงข้างหน้านี้ ส่วนเจ้าล่าสุดก็คือ Chrome โดย Google ซึ่งเป็น browser ที่น่าสนใจอยู่ไม่น้อย เจ้า Firefox หรือ “หมาไฟ” นั้นออกมาท่ามกลางความเบื่อหน่าย IE ที่ช้าและมี security hole มากมาย โดยที่ Firefox เน้นความเร็วและความปลอดภัยของผู้ใช้ โดยที่ Firefox [...]

Firefox 3.5
ในที่สุด Firefox 3.5 ได้ออกมาสู่สาธารณะหลังจากที่ปล่อยให้ชาวเนทเล่น IE 8 มาพักใหญ่ โดยที่ feature หลักๆ ที่เป็นตัวชูธงเช่น undo closed tab อันนี้รอมานาน private browsing mode Geo-location browsing อันนี้ถ้าต่อ internet ด้วย WiFi แล้วจะเห็นว่ามันแม่นยำมาก ลองดูได้ที่นี่ HTML v5 ว่าไปแล้ว Firefox ตัวนี้ load เร็วขึ้นกว่าเดิมแต่ยังไม่ชนะ Google Chrome และยังไม่ได้แยก process ในแต่ละ tab เหมือนกับ Chrome
