Kanok’s Balcony

ไปดำน้ำที่ทะเลชุมพรกับเรือชุมพรคาบานา MV1  ก๊วนที่ไปกันก็มี หนุ่ย จุ๋ม เอก และหมอฝน  ทริปนี้ถึงแม้น้ำจะไม่ใสปิ๊งแต่ก็มีของดีหลายๆ อย่างเช่น Bull Shark ฉลามหูดำ ที่หินกองชุมพร  และที่สุดยอดของทริปนี้ก็คือฉลามวาฬ ยักษ์ใหญ่ใจดีที่หินใบที่ดูเหมือนว่าปีนี้จะเจอกันบ่อย

ตอนแรกดูพยากรณ์อากาศก็ยังหวั่นๆ อยู่  แต่พอออกเรือจริงๆ แล้วกลับกลายว่าไม่มีฝน  แถมแดดดีซะอีก  ทำเอาตัวดำกลับมา

Tomorrow I’m heading out to Chumphon on live-aboard diving trip.  It will be a long drive.  Hope to have a good sunny day.  Also wish whale shark and black tip shark will wait for us.

ช่วงนี้เหมือนชีพจรลงเท้าอีกแล้ว  สัปดาห์ที่แล้วมีโอกาสได้ไปพักที่ X2  (อ่านว่าครอสทู) กุยบุรี จังหวัดประจวบฯ  เดินทางกันเบาะๆ เกือบ 300 กิโล  แต่ที่นีก็สวยได้สุดๆ เหมือน  เป็นรีสอร์ทที่ห่างไกลกับสีสรร  เอามากๆ  ต้องแยกจากถนนมิตรภาพมา 2 กิโล  มีบางช่วงเป็นถนนลูกรัง  ตัวรีสอร์ทเองก็แฝงอยู่กับหมู่บ้านชาวประมง  เป็นว่าถ้าเข้าไปแล้วก็อยูในนั้นไม่ต้องออกไปไหนแล้ว 

ตัวรีสอร์ทเองก็มีกันอยู่แค่ 23 หลัง  ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็น Pool Villa  เหมาะสำหรับคู่รักที่จะไป sweet กัน  หรือไม่ก็คู่กิ๊กที่อยากไป sweet โดยที่ไม่อยากให้คนอื่นรู้ :-)    ส่วนคู่ไหนที่พาลูกไปด้วยก็เตรียมหงอยได้เลย

ถึงจะอยู่แสนจะสันโดด  แต่ที่นี่เป็น Free WiFi Zone  เพราะใน Booklet ของทาง resort เขาบอกว่า “Internet is like Oxygen, you can’t live without it”

อะไรๆ ก็ดูดีไปหมดไม่ว่าจะเรื่องบรรยากาศ  design  แต่เสียอยู่ที่ว่าอาหารค่อนข้างแพง  และไม่มีทางเลือกด้วยซิ  อีกอย่างตัว pool villa ต้นไม้ยังไม่ค่อยจะทึบเท่าไหร่  มันก็เลยไม่ค่อยจะส่วนตัวเท่าไหร่

แวะมานอนพักที่ The Scenery Resort  สวนผึ้ง   ได้ยินคำร่ำลือมาว่าเป็นรีสอร์ทที่ไม่เหมือนใคร  คนที่มาที่นี่ต่างก็กลับไปบอกต่อถึงความสวยงาม    สิ่งที่เป็นจุดเด่นของที่นี่คือการตบแต่งสถานที่  โดยเฉพาะห้องพักที่มีความสะดวกสบายจนไม่อยากจะออกไปไหน  ที่นี่มีฟรี WiFi และเอา iPod มาฟังเพลงของเราเองได้  ตอนที่เขียน blog ก็เขียนจากที่นี่แหละ

แต่ไม่ออกไปข้างนอกก็ไม่ได้เพราะสิ่งที่ขาดไม่ได้สำหรับที่นี่คือแกะ  ที่นี่มีฝูงแกะอยู่ 29 ตัวไว้คอยรับแขกที่เข้ามาพัก  น้องแกะพวกนี้ไม่ถือตัวเลยโดยเฉพาะเจ้า Two Tone   ใครจะถ่ายรูปจะเล่นกับเขายังไงก็ได้

ถ่ายรูปมาเยอะแยะ  เดี๋ยวจะมา post ไว้ให้ดูนะ  เอารูปจากของรีสอร์ทไปดูก่อนละกัน

Tomorrow will be another HiLight HiTech trip, this time to Karnchanaburi.  Unfortunately, Woonsen cannot host this show, so we will have Antie AF4 as the temporary host.

This will be another trip that I’ll use new Qstarz GPS for photo tagging.

Here is the 4th trip of me with Hilight Hitech production team.  Tomorrow will be another trip for HiLight Hitech this time to Pattaya.  Nothing much to say except if you want to know more please turn to Channel 5 every Monday 11.05 - 11.30

Next week will be travel week for lots of Thai. Songkran Festival usually consist of 3-4 days holidays. This year government announce the Apr 16 also a holiday. For some (like me) taking 17-18 off mean 9 days vacation.

This year I take this break to go to Greece, visit the beautiful Santorini and Meteora. So there will be no update next week except on Jaiku feed (hope the SMS Jaiku still works).

สุดสัปดาห์นี้จะได้ติดไปกับกองถ่ายของ Hilight Hitech อีกครั้ง  โดยที่คราวนี้จะไปถ่ายกันที่โบนันซ่า เขาใหญ่  ได้กลับไปที่นั้นอีกครั้งหลังจากที่ไปดูดนตรี Winter Festival ครั้งแรกเมื่อหลายปีก่อน

ขอกัดเล็กๆ กับ Hilight Hitech  ว่าออกทริปแต่ละครั้งก็เป็นทีม Production คนละทีมตลอด  ฮิ ฮิ  ทีมนี้ดูเหมือนว่าจะเข้มแข็งกว่าทีมอื่นๆ   ผมเองก็ได้รับมอบหมายให้ถ่ายภาพเบื้องหลังรายการ….  ก็ลองดูก็แล้วกัน

Tomorrow will be the second field trip of taping Hilight Hitech.  This time will be Hua Hin, a destination of choice for many Thais.  This trip will be with new production team with VJ Woon Sen as the presenter.  Let’s see how it turns out in a couple weeks.

For those who on the travel trip and don’t want to bring full-blown tripod because of its weight and size, there is an alternative.  Joby’s Gorilla Pod which looks like 3 legged spider with flexible legs.

This Gorilla has three models that can hold small compact camera up to large camera with professional grade zoom lens (I mean those big white lens).  Its flexible legs can be adjust to match the surface or tie around the object.

Although this Gorillapod cannot and will not replace tradition tripod, however, this is a great solution for those backpacker and casual traveler who need to travel light.
