ไปเจอ clip อันนึงที่เป็นเด็กฟิลิปปินส์อายุประมาณ 14-15 ร้องเพลง I Have Nothing ได้อย่างน่าทึ่ง  เลย search ต่อไปว่าหนู Charice Pempengco จากเมือง Laguna นี้เป็นใครกัน  เลยได้รู้เรื่องอันน่าทึ่ง

เธอเริ่มร้องเพลงตั้งแต่อายุ 4 ขวบโดยที่คุณแม่เห็นว่าร้องเพลง Happy Birthday ได้ดังกว่าเด็กคนอื่นๆ  จากนั้นพอโตขึ้นได้ 7 ขวบก็ไปแข่งขันร้องเพลงแต่ก็ยังไม่ได้ที่ 1 ซักที   ได้ไปร้องโชว์ในรายการ Star King ซึ่งเป็นรายการโชว์ความสามารถของเกาหลี จนมีคนเอา clip รายการนั้นไป post ไว้บน Youtube.com  เท่านั้นแหละ   หลังจากนั้นความดังก็ข้ามไปอเมริกา และ อังกฤษ   เธอได้ไปออกทั้ง Ellen DeGeneres Show (USA), Paul O’Grady Show (UK) และที่ดังที่สุดคือ Oprah

David Foster ยังได้ให้ Charice ร้องเพลงในงานเปิดตัว MGM Grand ที่ Foxwoods และยังร่วมคอนเสิร์ทที่ Mandalay Bay Resort ที่ Las Vagas

I’m a big fan of Firefox and try to use Firefox as much as I can.  However, I found that some Internet banking in Thailand support only IE.  Can’t blame them since almost 85% of Thais Internet user use what ever browser Windows provides.

Until recently I found another problem keeping me back to IE.  Youtube!  Youtube use Adobe Flash to play its video online.  Looks like there is some problem with recent Flash player when installing to Firefox.  The video will stop exactly 2 second while the video still load.

I do some research on Internet and found the fix from HERE.  Seems like the installation of Flash has failed to put the file to Firefox directory.  Now Youtube back to work.

From the same company that creates iPod, stunned the world with iPhone on Mac World 2007.  Last year Steve Jobs said “We’re going to make some history together today” when he introduced iPhone.  This year Steve Jobs, again, stunned the world with “The Thinnest Laptop on Earth!” - MacBook Air.  Watch the YouTube video below and you will see.

Thinnest but not compromise specs at all.  It has Intel Core 2 Duo, 2G of RAM, 13.3 inch wide screen LED display, 80GB HDD or 64GB SSD (Solid State Drive-Wow!!!), multi touch keypad similar to iPhone, built-in 801.11n WiFi, iSight web cam and USB.  The battery life is 5 hours with wireless web browsing.  Can’t wait to see what’s next?   3G iPhone perhaps?

These Qantas advertise series spans several years. I watch the first one when I study over there. After the big success, couple follows. All of them still capture my heart.

The Qantas campaign, “I Still Call Australia Home”, is one of the frontrunners for the top Australian television campaigns of all time. Running from 1997 through to 2004, the campaign has linked together Australians living at home with those traveling or living overseas. Beginning with a range of Australian musicians, the campaign has come to be associated with the Australian Girls Choir and National Boys Choir.

The campaign began in 1997 with a three-minute commercial featuring trumpeter James Morrison, Kate Ceberano, James Blundell and other popular singers singing Peter Allen’s song, “I still call Australia home”. In the background are scenes from around the world and Australia. The shot finishes with a Boeing 747 and the words, “QANTAS The Australian Airline”.

Note that the original lyric has ‘Rio’ rather than Rome. However Qantas doesn’t fly to Rio.
