For those who on the travel trip and don’t want to bring full-blown tripod because of its weight and size, there is an alternative.  Joby’s Gorilla Pod which looks like 3 legged spider with flexible legs.<\/p>\n

This Gorilla has three models that can hold small compact camera up to large camera with professional grade zoom lens (I mean those big white lens).  Its flexible legs can be adjust to match the surface or tie around the object.<\/p>\n
