พอเปลี่ยน version ของ PHP เป็น 8.1 แล้ว blog crash ต้องค้างอยู่ที่ 7.4 ทำไงดี?

ย้ายไป server ใหม่ที่มี software บริหารจัดการดีกว่า แล้วเปลี่ยนไปใช้ https แทน http เดิม จะได้ทันสมัยเหมือนเพจทั่วๆ ไปตอนนี้ upgrade Weather Station ทั้ง /wx และ /pws ให้เป็น version ล่าสุด
Moving to a new host
การย้าย hosting นี้ไม่ง่ายเลย ผิดนิดเดียวออกทะเลไปได้แบบไม่รู้ตัว เจ้า hosting plan เดิมไม่ยอม upgrade php มานานแล้ว ดันเราให้ย้ายไป plan ใหม่ที่มี cPanel เป็นตัวบริหาร host ในที่สุดก็ต้องยอม แต่กว่าจะสำเร็จมีเรื่อง DNS move ที่ยุ่งยากอีก ดีที่เดี๋ยวนี้จะหาอะไรก็ถาม Google ได้ มีคนทำคลิป YouTube สอนไว้เรียบร้อย แต่ใน hosting อันนี้ไม่ได้มีเฉพาะ blog นี้อย่างเดียวยังมี page Weather Station ด้วยอีก 2 เพจ ความยุ่งเลยเป็น 3 เท่า

Firefox 12 ออกแล้ว มี feature เพิ่มขึ้นนิดหน่อย แต่ที่สำคัญจะเป็นรุ่นสุดท้ายที่รองรับ Windows 2000 และ Windows XP รุ่นก่อน SP2
เลขรุ่นก็เข้าใกล้ Google Chrome ขึ้นทุกที

Firefox 10
Firefox has gone to version 10.0.0 and now 10.0.1. expect a new version every 2 months.
Now most browsers such as Firefox and Chrome gone to the upgrade process rapidly, which is good for normal user which get the latest and most bug fixed version on the fly. However, for IT and software develop department is a nightmare for software conformance.

WordPress 3.3
Again, the blog engine, WordPress has been updated to the latest and greatest (yet!) version. The upgrade went well. Most user will not see much change but admin and developer has many new tools or updated.

Firefox 8 ออกมาให้แฟนๆ download มาใช้งานกันได้แล้ว ด้วยหลักการในการออก major release ใหม่อย่ารวดเร็ว ทำให้ version ตาม Google Chrome เข้าใกล้ขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ภายในปีหน้าคงไล่กันทัน

WordPress 3.2.1 – Again
โปรแกรม WordPress ที่ใช้อยู่ทุกวันนี้ปกติเวลาออกรุ่นใหม่ก็ upgrade ได้ไม่ยาก แต่ version 3.2.1 นี้บอกว่าต้องใช้กับ MySQL 5 เท่านั้น เอาละซิของเราใช้อยู่แค่ 4.1 เอง
ความที่ทั้งสองโปรแกรมนี้มีคนชั้นกันอยู่แพร่หลาย ลองถามอากู๋ดูก็ได้ข้อมูลมาพอสมควร มันก็แค่ backup database เดิม สร้าง database ใหม่ และก็ restore ของเดิมลงบน database ใหม่ สำหรับคนที่ไม่เคยใช้ MySQL เลย มันเหมือนปิดตาปล่อยเข้าป่าเลยนะนั่น
ลองไปลองมาก็ได้ออกมาเป็นแบบนี้ คงต้องคอยดูซักระยะว่ามันจะมีอะไรแปลกๆ หรือเปล่า
