Firefox 21
Firefox ได้ update Browser เป็น version 21 แล้ว ในขณะที่ Chrome ก็หนีไป version 27 ช่องว่างของ browser สองตัวนี้ใกล้ขึ้นไปเรื่อยๆ
ถามว่าอะไรเปลี่ยนแปลงไปบ้าง ตอบได้ว่าไม่ได้สนใจเลย update ตามไปเรื่อยๆ หวังว่าจะ fix security issue ก็พอ
Happy Chinese New Year–Google Way
Google ฉลองตรุษจีนเข้าปีมะโรงด้วยการเปลียน Doodle หรือ Logo ของ Google ที่หน้า www.google.com ให้เป็นเกมส์งูที่เราคุ้นเคยกัน พร้อมด้วยเพลงจีนประกอบ
ซึ่งเกมส์นี้ไม่ได้สร้างด้วย Adobe Flash แต่สร้างด้วย HTML5 ซึ่งเป็นมาตรฐานของเวปยุคต่อไป

ใครๆ ก็รู้ว่า Instagram เป็น App ถ่ายภาพที่ได้ภาพออกมาสวย และสามารถ post ไปอวดคนอื่นๆ ได้แบบไม่อายใคร อีกทั้งมีดาราทั้งไทยและเทศ post รูปต่างๆ ให้ follower ได้ติดตามอย่างมาก เมษาที่ผ่านมา Instagram โดน Facebook ซื้อไปด้วยราคา 1000 ล้านเหรียญ และอีกไม่นานก็ออก app บน Android ซึ่งเดิมชาว iOS ภูมิใจนักหนากับ App ตัวนี้
วันนี้ทาง Instagram ได้ออก update Term of Service ใหม่ http://instagram.com/about/legal/terms/updated/ ซึ่งทำให้เกิดเสียงวิจารณ์ว่าด้วย TOS อันนี้ Instagram สามารถนำรูปของเราไปขายต่อให้คนอื่นได้ โดยที่ไม่ต้องจ่ายค่า license ให้กับเราซักบาทเดียว

มาดูกันว่าก่อนวันที่ 16 ม.ค. ที่ TOS นี้จะมีผล ผู้ใช้ทั่วโลกจะมีปฏิกิริยาอะไรกับ TOS อันนี้บ้าง

ใครดูหนัง Mission Impossible คงจำประโยคนี้ได้ดี ใครจะนึกว่าอุปกรณ์ที่จะทำลายตัวเองจะมีอยู่แค่ในหนัง ตอนนี้สำหรับคนที่กลัวว่าข้อมูลใน HDD ของเราจะตกไปอยู่ในมือผู้ไม่หวังดี ก็หา SSD ตัวนี้มาได้
Runcore SSD InVincible series นอกจากจะเป็น solidstate HDD ความเร็วสูงแล้ว จะมีปุ่มมาให้อีก 2 ปุ่ม กดสีเขียวจะลบข้อมูลทั้งหมด ส่วนของเด็ดจะอยู่ที่ปุ่มสีแดง เมื่อกด กระแสไฟแรงสูงจะเข้าไปทำลายวงจรทั้งหมด ทำให้ไม่สามารถนำกลับมาใช้ได้อีกโดยสิ้นเชิง
ใครที่มีข้อมูลสำคัญขนาดที่ตกไปอยู่ในมือฝ่ายตรงข้ามไม่ได้ก็คงลองหามาใช้กันดู

ปกติเราส่ง email หรือจะ submit อะไรบน Internet บางครั้งก็ไม่ค่อยได้อ่านทวนกันเหมือนกับเวลาที่เราเขียนหนังสือ ซึ่งสำนวนพอมาอ่านอีกครั้งแล้วอาจจะไม่ตรงกับความตั้งใจที่จะส่งก็เป็นไปได้
รวมไปถึงข้อมูลผู้ส่งทั้งใน To หรือ Cc ก็ต้องดูให้ดีๆ ว่าส่งถูกคนหรือเปล่า ไม่อย่างนั้นจะเกิดเหตุการณ์เช่นกรณีนี้ที่พนักงานทั้ง่หมดของบริษัท Aviva Investor กว่า 1300 คน ได้รับจดหมายให้ออกจากงานพร้อมกัน เพราะความผิดพลาดของ HR ที่จริงๆ จะส่ง email ให้คนๆ เดียว
Songkran on The Internet
สวัสดีวันปีใหม่ดั้งเดิมของไทย หลายๆ คนก็เล่นน้ำกัน ส่วนบน Internet เดี๋ยวนี้ประเทศไทยก็อยู่บน Internet map แล้ว ทั้ง Google ก็เปลี่ยนเป็นรูปสงกรานต์
ส่วน Foursquare เวป check-in ชื่อดังก็ฉลองวันนี้ด้วยการให้ bonus point สำหรับคนที่ check-in ในช่วงสงกรานต์นี้ด้วย
เล่นน้ำกันอย่างมีความสุขนะครับ
TweetDeck–Dead Golden Chicken
Twitter Client ที่ดังมากตัวหนึ่งคือ TweetDeck ซึ่งถือว่าใช่ง่ายและสร้างบน Adobe Air ทำให้สามารถใช้ได้ทั้ง Window, Unix, Mac และนอกจากจะเชื่อมกับ Twitter แล้วยังสามารถเชื่อมกับ Facebook, Foursquare และ Tumblr ได้อีกด้วย
แต่แล้ว Twitter ก็ซื้อ TweetDeck ไปด้วยราคา 23 ล้านเหรียญ หลายๆ คนก็มองว่าเป็นโอกาสที่ดีที่ Twitter เองจะมี Native Client ที่ใช้งานง่ายอีกตัว และเป็นการกัน Uber Media ที่ซื้อ Client ดีๆ หลายๆ ดัวเข้ามา ทำให้ user ของ Twitter เกือบครึ่งใช้ client ที่ Uber เป็นผู้พัฒนา ว่าง่ายๆ ก็เป็นเกมส์ชิง user กัน
แต่แล้ว Twitter ออก TweetDeck ตัวใหม่ที่เป็น Native Windows app และเลิกใช้ Air แถมไม่รองรับ Foursquare และ Tumblr อีกต่อไป ตัว App เองก็ใช้ยากและไม่ stable อีก หลายๆ คนลองใช้แล้วก็หา version Air กลับมาใช้ต่อไป
เป็นเรื่องหน้าเศร้าที่บริษัทหนึ่งซื้อ app ดีๆ ไปแล้วทำให้มันตาย
